    Skate the cones

    Jeremy

    Name Jeremy LaCivita (節米)
    DOB Feb, 23 1978
    Location   Philadelphia, USA

I’ve been skating for over 20 years now. Started out as a rollerskater. Both my parents were into rollerskating for fun. My sister was taking artistic (figure skating on quads) lessons at the local rink, and I used to play with he-man over in the snack bar.

One day a coach named “Buddy” came to see if i’d like dancing around on skates more than playing with man-dolls, and the rest is history.

Thanks to Buddy, Ray, Gay Paul, Preston & Fran and all the others who coached me as a roller skater. Also thanks to my parents for supporting me in such a time consuming sport. Even more thanks to my dad, who continued to drive me to the rink on weekends so that I could skate to metallica with my friends, long after i stopped taking lessons.

Thanks to Denni, Joe, Paul, Moe, Tim and all the others that made roller skating so fun.

Thanks to Josh for getting me into Landskaters. Before that i thought inline skating was something you did alone. Thanks to John and Tom for asking me to do stairs my first time out. Thanks to Doug for kicking my ass on all those hard skates (and cutting my hair). Thanks to Bryen for showing me that there’s a lot more style to skating than you can even imagine if you’re still listening to metallica while you skate.

I’m sure there’s more, but these are all the people that left the biggest mark on my skating.
